The SVSWMA' s annual conference is held each September. Each year the conference brings together over 200 solid waste professionals for three days of fellowship, networking, exploring the latest technology, and listening to world renown speakers,  Annual college scholarships to students pursuing solid waste related fields are presented at this event.  The scholarships are the Olin Willis Scholarships.
